Gadget Cover Up to £1,000

We will pay up to £1,000 for the intrinsic value or cost of repair of your gadgets, including tablet computers and mobile phones, which is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed whilst you are away on your trip.

Unauthorised calls if your mobile phone is stolen up to £75

We can cover the following gadgets: Mobile phones, iPhones, iPads, Tablets, Smartwatches and Go Pro’s.

Please note:
You must take reasonable care of your gadgets and not leave them unattended in a public place.
You must own the item and be able to provide proof of ownership.
Allowance will be made for wear and tear and depreciation.

Provides additional cover for cancellation and additional expenses as a result of a catastrophic natural event, such as: fire, flood, earthquake, storm, lightening, explosion, hurricane or volcanic eruption which is unknown and unforeseen at the time you purchase the insurance or book your holiday, whichever is the latter.

Natural Catastrophe cover is available to add to any of your policies and includes the following cover:

Cover for cancellation up to £1,500 per person
Provides cover for any part of your outward, onward, return journey or whole trip which is cancelled due to a natural catastrophe.

Additional expenses to enable you to return home up to £1,500 in total per person

Provides cover for reasonable additional accommodation (room only) costs and transport expenses, up to the standard of your original booking, to enable you to return home if the public transport you are booked on is cancelled or delayed due to a natural catastrophe and an alternative is not provided within 24 hours, or in the case of connecting transport, not provided within a time frame that allows you to continue with your original itinerary.

Please note: Cover does not apply if your holiday forms part of a tour operator’s package. In this instance it is the responsibility of your tour operator to look after you and get you home.

Extends your policy to provide cover if you miss your pre-booked connecting Aircraft, Watercraft or Train as a result of the cancellation, or delay of 3 or more hours, on your initial international outward or return journey, due to adverse weather, mechanical breakdown or technical fault.

The policy provides cover up to £500 for additional transportation and/or accommodation expenses incurred to enable you to join your connecting Aircraft, Watercraft, Train or Motor vehicle or to get you to your pre-booked final destination.

Extends your policy to provide cover for you when skiing or snowboarding and provides the following additional cover:

• Piste closure £35 for each 24hrs up to £500, provided you are skiing north of the earth’s equator between 1st January and 30th April, or south of the earth’s equator between 1st June and 31st October and the ski resort is higher than 1600 metres above sea level.

OR if you have already travelled;

your portion of prepaid, irrecoverable, accommodation, foreign car hire costs and prepaid excursions and either your pre-booked return travel costs, or the cost of your curtailment travel costs, whichever is the greater up to a maximum of £2,000 (excursion limited to £250) should you wish to return home due to an act of terrorism occurring within a 40 mile radius of your booked accommodation.

Provides additional cancellation and curtailment cover if you are on a waiting list for treatment or investigation for a diagnosed condition.

This means that if you receive an appointment for the awaited treatment which causes you to cancel or cut short your trip, or you are unable to travel due to the treatment, we would provide cover for the cancellation or curtailment costs up to the amount detailed in your schedule of cover.

Please Note: You will need to ensure you buy cover for everyone on the policy who may need to cancel if you were called for treatment, not just the person who is awaiting treatment.

This option extends the cancellation and curtailment section of your policy to provide cover for unrecoverable holiday costs, such as transport, accommodation, and foreign car hire, if your pet dog or cat needs emergency life-saving treatment.

Cancellation cover is provided if you are forced to cancel your trip due to your cat or dog needing emergency life-saving treatment in the seven days before your trip starts.

Curtailment cover is provided if you are forced to return home early because your cat or dog needs emergency life-saving treatment whilst you are away.

Cover for cancellation or curtailment is up to £2,000 per person.
