Renewal Information

Everything you need to know about your policy renewal

Your Annual travel insurance policy is due for renewal, and we want to ensure you have all the right information you need to make the right choice.

Key things to check before renewing

If there have been any changes since the start of your policy – whether to anyone’s health, contact details, or travel plans – it’s important to update us. Not doing so could mean your policy is no longer valid, leaving you unprotected when you need it most.

Please let us know if you or anyone else on your new policy has:

  • has been diagnosed with a new medical condition
  • has experienced any changes to an existing condition
  • has had a change in medication
  • has undergone surgery, investigations, or follow-ups with a doctor
  • has recently visited A&E
  • has experienced new symptoms and discussed them with a GP

Important policy updates

  • If your annual policy is not set to auto renew, any cover extensions, such as cover for sports and activities will NOT automatically be included in your renewal
  • You will need to check that any extensions you require are available and add them to your policy before renewing
  • You will also be able to view our product information document and the full policy wording

Cancellation cover

Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO): Please note that our policies do not provide cover for cancellation caused by a change in FCDO or government advice, other than as a result of fire, earthquake, storm, riot or civil unrest.

Additionally, if you travel to a destination where the FCDO or government is advising against all but essential travel, our policies will not provide any cover.
