Wildlife holidays: Connect with the natural world

Swap wildlife documentaries for the wildlife adventures. Sir David Attenborough once said “Now, over half of us live in an urban environment. My home, too, is here in the city of London. Looking down on this great metropolis, the ingenuity with which we continue to reshape the surface of our planet is very striking. It’s also very sobering and reminds me of just how easy it is for us to lose our connection with the natural world.”

Make time to connect with the natural world through one of these great wildlife watching trips:

Travel insurance for wildlife adventures

Make sure your travel insurance includes cover for the adventures you intend to have on your holiday. Scuba diving and snorkelling is covered as standard, for safaris you need to add hazardous activities category B. The safari must be booked from UK to qualify for cover. It is a condition of cover that you need to check with your doctor that you have had all the recommended vaccinations and inoculations by the UK government for the area you are travelling to. Failure to do so would result in the policy being void.
